St. Helier

The Jersey Amateur Dramatic Club, formerly the Amateur Dramatic Club was formed in 1939 when a group of young men advertised in the Jersey Evening Post for:
"Any young ladies interested in a newly formed dramatic Club, Please enclose photo!"
Now we present Pantomimes, Musicals, Classical plays and Comedies. We enter our local Eisteddfod and arrange club night functions such as Salsa Nights, Quizzes and Dinner Theatre while rehearsing and presenting five Productions a year. We strive to produce high quality productions and we are proud that as well as acting we are able to design and construct our own sets, lighting and sound. Club members also provide stage management, backstage and front of house activiites.
Putting on a show demands talent both on-stage and off and we are always looking for new talent. So if you can sing, dance, act, direct, design posters, paint and design sets, make costumes, help backstage, or front-of-house or just make tea, we need you. Please come along to meet us!
