Atherstone

ACS is a large non-audition choir that formed in 1974. Today it maintains a choral tradition that began with Handel (Messiah, 1741) and now extends to include Bach, Beatles and L'Estrange (Zimbe, 2008)
The choir aims to prepare four new concerts each year. Variety is the spice of life, so two (Spring and Autumn usually) are based around one or two well-known pieces from different musical periods. At Christmas we combine the seasonal story with a more secular celebratory tone. The Summer concert is usually a selection of lighter and more modern music.
Rehearsals run in term time on Monday evenings, augmented by occasional Saturday workshops.Atherstone, Warwickshire

Stratford-upon-Avon

We are a well-established drama group based in Stratford upon Avon. We’ve been running since 1945 and have performed many plays, pantomimes and musical shows over the years. We have a membership of around 30-40 people of a variety of ages, including some children who join us specifically for our pantomimes. - See more at our website
We like to perform a variety of plays, from whodunits through to farces, comedies and classic dramas. We are well-known locally for our pantomimes and have included the occasional musical in our repertoire too.
We love to welcome new members to our team, both on to the stage and also behind the scenes. The jobs of stage manager, lighting, sound, costumes and front of house are all as important to a show as the actors up on the stage. If you would like to join us or just want to come and say hello, please contact us at info@phoenix-players.org.uk
